I’m sorry that you were unable to obtain a quotation for Home insurance due to technical issues with our systems and that we did not call you back and this does not meet our own expectations of service. Please accept my apologies for this. We have recently amended our call back processes, and should you choose to allow us to quote for your home insurance in the future, I would like to expect that we would perform more satisfactorily. I didn't purchase a policy from Hiscox because when compared to similar quotes your excess was 100% bigger and your premium was over 200% higher.

Phone operator required information that I did not have and had to phone previous insurer. Given that all details are shared by insurers, the operator would have had access to the information anyway!...
