Unfortunately, the delay in receiving your coins was caused by Royal Mint exhausting their stock due to an underestimation of the high demand for this item.
Here at The Post Office Shop, we work closely with The Royal Mint to ensure these occurrences are kept to a minimum and in light of this we are working with The Royal Mint to ensure that delivery of stock to ourselves is prioritised over other vendors due to our close relationship with them.
We are also investigating the potential for limiting instances like this further going forward
