However, this dormant phase is an important part of its life cycle, helping it grow strong and healthy for the seasons to come. Our images on Instagram and on the website show Hazel trees in their full spring and summer glory, so you can see the beautiful tree it will become. Each of our deciduous trees is clearly described as “naturally shedding its leaves every autumn and remaining dormant through winter, with fresh new growth to appear in spring which is well worth the wait.” If the tree isn’t right for you, we’re happy to offer a no-quibbles return for a full refund once the tree is returned to us.
