We verify that reviews are from genuine customers by matching them to a sale or transaction. People are only invited to leave a review after purchasing from the business.

How do we deal with fake reviews?

We are sorry to hear you had an unsatisfactory experience with Globehunters and we regret any inconveniences this issue might have brought to you. This is certainly not the level of customer service that we expect for our customers. We would request you to understand that the cancellation made by the airline was due to a natural disaster - it is out of Globehunters and the Airline's control. We took the time in offering you an alternative as per the advice by the airline. Since your booking was partially used (inbound had already flown), the Airline is responsible for arranging an alternative flight for you and we have to go by their rules and their advice. Concerning your refund, this is calculated by the Airline's Refunds Team, not us. This is because, as mentioned above, you have already used part of the ticket. We as a travel agency do not dictate refund amounts on partially used tickets - Airlines do. We would be only able to advise on a round-trip fare in case of normal cancellation(voluntary cancellation). Once a ticket is used, the airline refund will calculate the ratio of the fare that was used and how much will be refunded (if any). With regards to the refund time, we have quoted you the standard advised time of 8-10 weeks. If the refund is issued from the airline/our suppliers sooner, we will be more happy to inform you about it. But we would like to take the opportunity to advise that we did not take any action without your prior authorization. Once again we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.
