Don't bother, baggage is extra. Staff had poor English. Felt scammed

Our website picks up the best available fares available through the airline fare distribution system. The airline system broadcasted a "hand baggage only" fare for your booking, which was picked and booked for your reservation.
With regards to the booking you have made, we always show baggage-related information on our website under the tab “More information”. If the passenger has not seen the information on the website, we send the confirmation email with the attached Itinerary under the title “Meal and Luggage”. We also have dedicated a team to who will call/send an email to passengers to check if are aware of this. We give adequate time to all the passengers to call us or email us with how they wish to proceed. This was not an up-sell on our behalf - more so as an extension of customer service so that you are fully aware of the limitations of the fare offered for your reservation. We as travel agents have a time-limit to process the reservations. If you had asked for your booking to be canceled, we could have done it for you too.
We would like to apologize again for the issue that has cropped up, but as a travel agency, our options are limited as our website picks up the lowest fare available and then provides it to the passenger who makes a search for it.
Your feedback has also been shared with the Manager of the representative who attended your call and would try to ensure that this is not repeated in the future.
