Thank you for your prompt reply, i have done as you suggested and my findings are printed below. i have started to use wood from a previous delivery and the difference is plain to see. i realise that things like this happen, even in a successful business such as yours, mistakes will and do happen, i'd like to make it known that my rating of poor only appertains to the last bag delivered, i have been more than happy with previous deliveries direct from certainly wood and i will continue to purchase your products. I have now found another company which is actually in the region, delivers without the same amount of kiln dried wood without using pallets and is actually a bit cheaper especially if I take into account that this week I had to pay a total of £26.00 to cover the cost of the council picking up the pallets this Friday. I am glad you are looking into the matter and hope that you find a solution but unfortunately although your message does show good will to resolve the problem it does not reassure me enough that I would not be in a similar position if I were to order from you in the future. I do wish your company every success since I had a number of deliveries that were very good and each time the pallet was picked up without a problem it is just a shame that although that shows it is clearly possible that it was not policy. Also the only face to face contact that your customers tend to have are with the delivery individuals again I must say that in the past this was not a problem but in this case it was and I presume you have no power to oversee this so a key part of your business (the direct interface with client) falls outside of your control and that is perhaps a dangerous business plan to follow. Also the delivery company unlike pas times did not give me warning that it was coming. There was a phone call made to the house but an agreement on a date was not made yet the company delivered first thing the following morning and it was only by chance that we happened to be at home but it certainly was not an ideal moment to deal with it as were then subsequently delayed.
