In relation to bookings, as soon as trips are confirmed, we immediately contact the hotels to make the bookings. In some hotels, they will allocate the rooms as people arrive to check-in however, as opposed to at the time of booking. We apologise if this system resulted in having your room located in a noisier location on some occasions.

Indeed, we generally don't organise dinner in the bigger cities or stage stops as there are so many great places to eat out. Apologies for the confusion and glad you enjoyed the tour! For our guided tours and standard package, we always book hotels in the centre of towns and villages, as they tend to be the most convenient for the trail. However, our country cottages option includes more secluded, rural accommodation (out of town). This might be worth keeping in mind for future trips. Continental breakfast tends to be a much lighter meal than in other countries but we hope you enjoyed the tour despite this. Let us know if you need anything else. Kindest regards.
