We supply 5g of high quality live cultures. This is enough to ferment 250ml of milk per batch (but they grow quickly so you can ferment more when they have grown).
This is a standard size and is the same amount provided by most legitimate suppliers.
We state very clearly on the website how much you will receive and why.
We do offer larger sizes however they were not selected with this order.
We have been supplying kefir in that size since 2009 and have helped hundreds of thousands of people make kefir with just 5G of grains. If you need any help with your grains contact our customer helpline by email (help@webrewkombucha.co.uk) or by telephone (Mon-Thursday 9am-4.30pm 01323 730091).

There was exactly 5G of grains, each batch is individually washed and weighed and recorded in our organic records. This was exactly as advertised. We offer other sizes but they were not selected with this order.
We state very clearly in several places in the instructions and the website that 5g of grains will brew 250ml of milk per batch NOT 500ml.
The cultures are also very temperature sensitive and it has been colder so this will have slowed brewing down.
If you need any assistance with your culture please let us know but the size that you purchased is not suitable for that sized brew and can lead to complications so it is not recommended.
