excellent with clear instructions that helped a lot. The only issue was that the printer was running out of ink so the instructions are quite faded but still readable, just.

We do not dispatch any goods on a Friday (to avoid the live cultures sitting in the post over the weekend where possible).
As you ordered late on a Thursday afternoon your order was not dispatched until the next working day (Monday). This is what caused the slight delay.
According to our records your order was delivered within 7 days of ordering but i appreciate you would have liked it faster.
We do everything we can to ensure that you receive the freshest cultures that will provide you with a lifetime of fermentation even if that occasionally means its not the fastest delivery process.

We provide 80g of culture (as advertised). Most loaves require 80-150g of starter to make the loaf. You can increase and decrease the size of your culture to suit your recipe by not discarding when you feed or discarding more when you feed. This will increase the size of the starter. You do not want your everyday starter to be too large as the larger it is the more often you need to feed it and you need to use more flour whenever you feed.
