No service provided. Unable to review dates without charge when date had been chosen in error. No call received after booking, as promised in the booking confirmation email

Mr Sanders you made your booking online and we would suggest revisiting the order summary since it advises you will be contacted by a consultant, 'either' by email or by telephone within the next 72 hours to confirm your arrangements. This was done by email (one of the options) inside 24 hours. We do not guarantee calls. Please check your junk/spam for the booking confirmation if cannot see it. If you wish to amend anything, since the order was fulfilled, there will be charges but we can look into this for you via usual channels.

NOT to be trusted - look elsewhere!
Dreadful service. Debited my account twice for the holiday payment. More than a week later I am still waiting for a refund. NOT to be trusted.

We are sorry for this, it has been a simple administration error and not deliberate warranting distrust. The timescales for banks passing back funds are beyond our control but this was dealt with immediately for you.

With the greatest respect, you ought to have a web payment system that works properly. Ok, problems happen, but it is how you deal with them that matters. If you don't have the funds, as a business, to refund my £10k immediately, then it is questionable whether you should be trading. It does NOT take 14 days to send someone their money back. It sounds like you believe it does, which is worrying. What you refer to as a "simple admin error" has caused me extreme difficulties. have you tried to do anything about it? How would you cope personally if someone took £10k from you bank account that you weren't expecting?
I would also suggest that you don't ask for feedback if you can't accept criticism. Customer service is very clearly not your strong point.

We have since had opportunity to look into this more and it would appear that you volunteered the duplicate payment yourself, it was not an administration error. Following which we have to process refund back to your original method of payment and cannot override the timescales the banks may take. We offer expected dates because of this to manage your expectation since all is beyond our control. It is inaccurate to state that this has anything to do with our financial position since we reverse funds as soon as informed and do not retain them. We do hope that the institutions with whom this now sits are speedier than anticipated.
