Martello Tower
A stay in the Tower scores highly in novelty value. Many passers-by were intrigued that it was a holiday let. It's a historic fort, so no surprises that the windows are small & high up, meaning it's...

Fairburn Tower
Absolutely incredible five days at Fairburn Tower and well worth the long drive from the English Midlands. The property has been restored to its former glory in a sensitive but practical way, and the...

The Egyptian House: 1st Floor
The flat was sparkling clean, elegant and restful and felt miles different from the average holiday let. The water was hot ( after a bit of experiment) the shower room was cosy and warm , beds comfy...

Dunshay Manor
For us it was a stylish, interesting house, in an ideal location for the various members of our family to meet up for a very special weekend.

We had the perfect stay. My dad loves steam trains and model railways and we had such fun getting in and for the train at the cottage. The cottage was like stepping back in time, beautifully done to...

We loved staying at Cawsey House, it was the second week of August 2025. The photographs can not do that house justice. It is an absolutely beatuiful space. The parking area is perfect and arriving...

The Shore Cottages No 1
Many people make an annual pilgrimage to the Shore Cottages and, as this was my second visit in as many years, perhaps I am now one of them. The spell has been cast and I have been caught — caught...

The Old Parsonage
Had a stay in The Old Parsonage with my 3 daughters. We all enjoyed the stay and were blessed with good weather, sometimes too hot. We went out in the morning, came back for a late lunch and then...

Acerca de The Landmark Trust
We take on historic places in danger and carefully and sensitively restore them. By making them available for holidays, we make sure they can be enjoyed by all, both today and for future generations. We have in our care nearly 200 buildings in Britain, several in Italy and France and one in Belgium. Though they range from the sober to the spectacular, all our buildings are rich in history and atmosphere. They include picturesque pavilions and medieval long-houses, artillery forts and Gothick follies, clan chiefs’ castles and cotton weavers’ cottages, the homes of great writers and the creations of great architects, from Browning to Boswell, from Pugin to Palladio.
