Our change-of-mind return policy allows returns within 14 days, which is why a store credit was offered once the return request was received outside that timeframe. These policies are in place so we can manage returns fairly and consistently, particularly given the handling and administrative costs involved. However, it does appear this situation should have been escalated to management when you explained that a store credit would not be useful for you. We apologise that this didn’t happen at the time. If we had been able to discuss it further before the item was disposed of, we would have been happy to review the situation and see how we could assist. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and are sorry the matter wasn’t handled as smoothly as it should have been.
