In situations where safety may be compromised, instructors may need to react quickly and speak more directly to regain control of the situation. While this can sometimes come across as abrupt or stressed, it is typically a response to ensure immediate safety, and although this is not an excuse for the lack of manners you experienced, it was likely the reason for the instructor’s tone in that moment. Our supplier has also advised us that they expect their instructors to remain professional and supportive at all times, particularly as many of their customers are driving these types of vehicles for the first time. Regarding the condition of certain vehicles you drove, it is worth noting that the vehicles are put through a lot of high-energy manoeuvres every day, not just on the experience you booked on for, but others like it from the same supplier, so they will be subject to more natural wear and tear than would normally be the case. The suppliers at the venue will always endeavour to have high performance replacements if necessary in the case of warning lights, delays, curtailments or other mechanical issues. Regarding instructors, the suppliers at the venue will usually require participants to follow safety procedures. We would ask customers to please do as they ask for your own safety and of those around you. The instructor may need to assist you or direct your attention in certain areas, such as acceleration and braking. Having spoken to the supplier at the venue, they have reviewed video footage of all your drives, and have concluded that there was nothing to suggest there were less than favourable attitudes from any of their instructors on your drives. They have advised us that some of their instructors do have strong characters and are quite direct in their instruction, however, in the case of vehicles such as the Dodge Hellcat which you drove, instruction on this vehicle in particular, which gives out 500bhp and was being driven in damp conditions, was necessary to ensure that your drive went as safely as possible.
