Very efficient and very helpful staff, crossing was a breeze and I was pleased to get an earlier crossing without trouble on board facilities were great too.

Slightly tired looking upholstery on furniture but clean and comfy
We visit the Isle of Wight twice a year on business and Red Funnel never put a foot wrong. Always on time never any hassle and at a fair price for our van. clean boat and friendly staff.
Overall very good however as there were a few of us travelling, we did find it difficult to find enough seats to sit together.
On the return journey we had something to eat which was warm, fresh...
I think nearly £10 to amend a booking to one day earlier is excessive.
Your original fare of approx. £45 was fair.
Your amendment charge is not.

thank you for the review. The reason for the £10 charge was a £5 booking amendment fee applied + a £5 fare differential (the fare difference between the old and new sailing time). If the new sailing time had been the same price then only the £5 amendment fee would have been charged. Please email if this is at all unclear but in the meantime, thank you for travelling with us.

I think the ferry companies could give Isle of Wight residents a discount.
This might help us to use them more often.
You have a captive audience, help us to travel more often at a better price than holidaymakers who only use the service once a year.
