It seems that pets of all shapes and sizes are now allowed in the main passenger lounge. This is a particular problem for people who suffer with pet hair allergies. I travel regularly and this has been the situation with most if not all crossings. Staff walk past pets without comment, even when they are sat clearly on seats. This was the case in the summer good weather as well as during the winter.

Thank you for your feedback and we a sorry you didn’t have a good experience travelling with us on this occasion.
The delay was due to sea conditions and it was decided by the captain that is was unsafe to sail.
With the Red Falcon refit that is due to finish in Easter 2014 we will have a quiet area within the passenger lounge and also restricted areas for customers travelling with pets, we hope this will make the journey experience good for all customers.
From the recent comments regarding pets we have changed our policy and on future sailings customers with pets should be in a designated area which is -
-Top Deck lounge on Red Eagle
-Port side Cowes end on both Osprey & Falcon (pending refits)
