It is worse than that and, whilst there was the initial issue that has, essentially been resolved (I am still disappointed with Petplan), there is still an ongoing issue relating to the initial answer I received in writing from your "team", that is equally as disappointing. I have (yesterday) sent two copies of a letter to your "team" in the post and we shall see if you can lift your game from there. Incidentally, forgetting my own time and expenses, how much has this issue already cost Petplan to argue, over $8.10 worth of prescribed Veterinary short-term diet for the animal's brief medical issue? Sounds like Petplan runs a pretty wasteful, argumentative, shoddy ship now, doesn't it?

Look around for another quote ......

they put lots of exclusions on my policy that were totally unrelated to pre-existing conditions, so they were hardly covering anything

Are not prepared to pay euthanasia costs to end pain of cancer

Good but room for improvement.

Overall good experience and timely response. The manual (paper-based) claim form process is somewhat cumbersome and could be upgraded to an online process.
