passengers sitting on the floor throughout Soton to East Cowes 1800 sailing 8/12/13 makes them look like refugees.Smelling like a fish/chip shop on your clothes when you return home is upsetting...
Ferry was packed, I and my wife had a meal so needed a table which we just managed to get.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review, your feedback has been past onto the respective teams. A brand new food and beverage offer is planned as part of our new look which will be introduced from 4 April 2014. In the meantime, we hope you have a great Christmas.
Very very very expensive. Could fly to spain for the same price i paid to go across a short stretch of water.

we strive to keep fares as low as possible and customers regularly tell us we are cheaper than our competitor. However, as vehicle prices are demand based it is cheaper if you can book as early as possible and avoid the most popular sailing times. It is also worth signing up for our email newsletters which contain offers - you can do this at http://www.myredfunnel.co.uk
Quick and easy check in, lots of info before hand - maps etc. resteraunt on boat was very busy as everyone wanted breakfast and only 2 serving (same as most times) everything else was good

We do sincerely apologise for this, unfortunately regulations prohibit the sale of Food & Beverage items if toilets are unavailable. The has been an unprecedented problem which normally would have resulted in withdrawing the ship for repairs. However, with Red Osprey in refit we were unable to do this without cancelling sailings which would have caused huge delays. We will be contacting all affected customers separately by email over the next 7 days with an offer of compensation.
Generally a good, reliable service.
The last booking I made I was quite disgusted though to see the prices change every few minutes on the website, I literally kept logging on to try to get a price...
