Thank you so much for taking the time to leave the review. We are really happy you enjoyed the trek! It certainly is challenging. Gary is a great guide. He likes to give flexibility to the group and he’s always aware of the location of everybody. I know he thoroughly enjoyed guiding the group. I’ll pass on the great comments to him. Advertised transport in the agenda is not included in the cost of the trek and this information is available when you download your itinerary from the booking portal, as explained in a few emails pre travel. It also gives details of the prices in Swiss francs, plus we inform people at the welcome meeting to make sure they have cash. Just by way of explanation.about the cost of the cablecars & buses down to Zinal and again from Jungen to St. Niklaus. As Gary explained these are optional 'extras'. These cablecars are not part of the walking route and are only for folk who are tired and don't want to walk down at the end. As you know you didn't actually go over the col de Sorbois from the barrage at Lac Moiray because of the forecast and threat of lightning that afternoon. That’s why you took a bus from the barrage to Zinal at the end of that day. We are really pleased that you found the trek excellent and appreciate your feedback.
