We are just getting in touch again regarding the review you left us on the Ford Mustang GT experience at Perranporth Airfield last week. Thank you for your patience whilst we spoke to the supplier at the venue regarding the issues you raised.
They have advised that mechanical issues can arise at the last minute and are, of course, unpredictable. If a car does go down at track, the supplier will always endeavour to have high performance replacements if necessary in the case of warning lights, delays, curtailments or other mechanical issues.
However, this can be nigh on impossible when also running the event. They do advise in their terms and conditions, that if a vehicle is unavailable due to mechanical issues, they have the option to choose an alternative car there and then or rebook for a later date. Their records from the day indicate that you chose a different vehicle and only had a 15-minute wait which is in line with their own performance targets, given the driving sessions are 2-3 hours in length.
Regarding the pricing, they have advised that this is clearly outlined in the terms and conditions, on your confirmation email and on your reminder email that is sent closer to the event date (also I believe you have this outlined on your side also), and we, like the supplier, have always and will always be transparent about this.
Regarding the upsells of extras on the day, these are offered to all customers attending the venue by the supplier at the venue. This is an additional stream of income for them independent of the experience that is sold through our website as the acting agency, and whilst there is no obligation to take them up on the offer, it is offered to all customers out of courtesy.

Regarding the Damage Waiver offered on the day by the supplier at the venue, this is offered to all customers so as to give peace of mind that, in the unlikely event of the vehicle(s) sustaining any damage on the day, you would not be liable for its costs of repairs, but you are not under obligation to take this.
