We're always looking at ways to improve the clarity of our route descriptions, so we greatly appreciate your insight, and we regret that the latter portion of this trail wasn't a good match for you as the first had been. We have plenty of walkers out completing this route in its totality - so there's definitely nothing foolish about walking it! - but we very much appreciate that the quality of each trail is subjective and providing robust information is the best way to avoid such mismatches. Again, thank you for your comments, and for submitting them via our dedicated feedback form, too, which helps us to aggregate concerns.

Stunning, but more than a "moderate" route.

Good communication, except for concerning the route description. Good luggage transfer. Why make the last day 12 miles...far too long when the terrain is just as hard as previous shorter days.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We very much appreciate the feedback, and we're glad to hear you loved the coastline on the Far West of Cornwall walk. Grading trails is always a tricky business as so much of it's subjective, and we regret our assessment of this route wasn't right for you. We choose overnight stops based on the length and difficulty of the day alongside the availability of accommodation, and the sheer remoteness of this leg of the walk is part of why we've split it as we have for our FWC3 itinerary. Our FWC4 is probably the better option for anyone reading this and worrying about that long final day, but as there's no suitable overnight town actually on the trail there, it does mandate a taxi transfer, which not everyone will prefer. It's very much a balancing act!
