Contours service was good. The preparation materials sent to us ahead of the tour helped us plan the trip. During the trip, they communicated with us by text and phone a few times.

Thank you for your thorough review of the Coast to Coast Walk, which will be very useful for prospective walkers! We're so glad to hear your accommodation proprietors were so helpful, although we're not at all surprised to hear it. As you allude to in your closing line, the Coast to Coast Walk has a whole culture built up around it, which we think is one of the very best things about it.
