The message I typed wasn't written and so my dad was unsure who the gift was from. I used this site as I am at the other side of the world so based on this I can't say I'll be using you again.

Many thanks for your recent order and your feedback. We were very upset to read your feedback and to see that your dad couldn’t see who the gift was from. All gift messages are hand written onto gift cards and these are slotted in under the ribbon OR tied to the ribbon. I can only imagine that in this case the card was not attached (because your message was a little long it would probably have been written on the loose card which is slightly larger than the gift tag) and that it has somehow slipped out from under the ribbon. Gifts are gift wrapped, ribboned, then the card is attached/put underneath and then the gift wrapped gift/s are bubble wrapped to protect the gift wrap and the gifts.
I can assure you that the card would have been written and included but fully accept that it is possible that it slipped out and perhaps landed upside down so your dad didn’t see it or realise there was a message on the back. We shall take this into account and consider changing our systems for the future as it’s very important to us that our customers are happy.
I can only apologise that your dad didn’t see the card and therefore didn’t realise who the gift was from and hope you’ll accept our apologies
