Whilst the ramp surfaces are very grippy and anti slip , they will mark and scratch but this is quite normal and doesnt affect the performance of the ramp. The Solvit ramps are unique in that they are the only ramp that is designed so the ramp surfaces can be replaced. Great news for all Solvit ramp owners!

Thank you for your reply & comments Tim. My GSD is now going up the ramp without scratching, and the grip seems to be ok. I'm pleased to hear that the surface can be replaced as & when needed. Perhaps you could let me know what the procedure is for sometime in the future?
