Many thanks for the review. The ramp that you were sent was a brand new item from Solvit, it is important that you read the instructions thoroughly before using. The safety fastener is never attached during transit and its always a good idea to attach the safety clip before use, this is advised in the instructions so you can then use the ramp safely.
Like any new piece of equipment it can take a few trial runs to get the hang of setting out your dog ramp.

It was NOT a brand NEW item from Solvit - they must have packed an ex-demo model then. I have photos to prove it.
Don't you think they should fastener the SAFETY clip in transit - or if not possible tie the 2 parts of the sliding ramp together with some SAFETY band? Why have a safety devise if it is not in use for the first customer engagement??
