Our apologies for the delay. Sorry to see that the shoes did not quite fit. Unfortunately because of the nature of mail order, you are unable to try the shoes on before you buy them, as you would on the high street. I have taken a look at your account and can confirm that we only received your shoes back last Thursday (28/05/2009). However, the replacements are now being despatched and should be with you shortly. Because it had been only one working day, there would have been no notification sent in that time. Certainly... We have all our products manufactured to exceptional standards in a number of different countries depending upon the technical ability, quality and price. Our shoes are manufactured in India, as are a number of the leading brands of Goodyear welted shoes sold in the UK. Our shirts and ties are produced in Asia where we have been able to locate the best facilities in the world for producing premium shirts. In regards to the price, we did for sometime sell them successfully for £99.95 a pair but this offer has been so much more successful for us, we have decided to keep it going for longer. Sorry to hear of the problems that you encountered with our returns service. In the vast majority of cases, collections are received back within a matter of 2-5 days and on the whole, they are very good, but sadly issues with deliveries will always be high up on the level of complaints with mail order. It is unfortunately something mail order companies will always have to deal with. However, it is something we have identified as an area that needs improvement and we are currently reviewing our whole collection process along with our couriers. The new procedures will hopefully significantly reduce the few problems that may arise. Once again, our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
