Thank you for taking out cover with us. We have specialised in covering people for doing their sport for about 25 years, and constantly review the sports that we cover, and the risks involved. Unless we specify otherwise, our policies include cover for competitions, and with the travel policy they also include cover for sports equipment such as bikes. When doing a sport such as a triathlon, that cover extends to covering your bike in the transition area which many other insurers would exclude. We pride ourselves in providing comprehensive cover for sports people, and as you pointed out, some of our competitors policies do not include such extensive cover. If you have any specific queries as to the cover, we would be pleased to assist you with them.
