Thank you for your feedback regarding the 1 Day Kangaroo Island Experience Tour. We are sorry you feel the tour was not value for money, a bit crowded and too rushed. This tour is designed for people who have limited time to visit Kangaroo Island and can only spare a day. We certainly do recommend that if you have the time, it is best to allow a minimum of 2 days but preferably more, to have plenty of time to really appreciate Kangaroo Island. On this one day tour we visit many of the major iconic highlights of Kangaroo Island such as Seal Bay and the Flinders Chase National Park. This requires the coach to travel from one end of the island to the other and when you consider Kangaroo Island’s size (155km long), there is a fair amount of travel that needs to occur including travel to/from Adelaide to the island. The itinerary we have put together for this day tour has been timed as to allow visitors time at each of these key attractions.
This tour is operated in luxury air-conditioned coaches and due to the popularity of the tour, we often get between 40-50 passengers on each coach. We do make it clear that this tour is operated in large coaches and for those who are looking for smaller, more personalised touring, we do operate offer Kangaroo Island Odysseys 4x4 tours of Kangaroo island.

Thank you for your response. You do not address my mentioning that we just stood on the beach at Seal Bay when you advertise a walk on the beach. It wouldn't have had anything to do with the size of the group? It was large enough to intimidate even the bravest of seals. Nor do you explain why so much time is spent at Penneshaw before boarding the ferry when some of this time could be better spent at Admiral's Arch. Some less mobile passengers never got to see the Arch because time didn't allow them to get down there and then climb back up again. Ten more minutes could have made all the difference for them. And yes, you do make it clear that the tour is operated in large coaches, but what's stopping you from using two or three smaller ones that do not spoil the image of an island that promotes itself as a nature-based tourism destination?

We loved Kangeroo Island and all the wildlife we saw. My sister was visiting from South Wales UK and it was an unique experience for her which she thoroughly enjoyed
