Following on from our recent correspondence, as explained, the confusion occurred when the owner began corresponding with you directly which we were unaware of. Fortunately due to our initial involvement, the owner agreed to accept your booking at the rate we quoted which was £500 less than the one she'd provided you with when you contacted her directly. Notwithstanding, given your dissatisfaction with your experience with us overall we have refunded the £20 booking fee which is the only fee we charge guests like yourselves for using our service. We aim to please 100% of our customers 100% of the time, but on rare occasions we fall short and deeply regret it.

We certainly agree the house and grounds are both stunning, we are sorry to hear you found the showering a little temperamental. It sounds like you all had an excellent time enjoying this fabulous house and its quirks overall! The housekeeper can always help with the inventory for additional equipment prior to arrival which may be good to know for future reference, but we will certainly pass your comments onto the owners, any feedback is helpful to ensure we can improve were possible.
