We certainly agree in this case you needed to be compensated for all the trouble caused which we've since discussed and you're now in receipt of. We were mortified to hear of your catalogue of troubles particularly during the worst of Scotland’s wet & wintry weather. Being set on a rock face with open views to the loch, this ancient castle does get battered by the south westerly winds and rain which can (and in your case did) leak through the sandstone and single pane sash windows in loch facing rooms. Unfortunately the owner happened to be abroad at the time and his brand new cleaner was not equipped to deal with the problems that ensued, all of which then had a knock-on effect to housekeeping for which he, and we, sincerely apologise.

Thank you for your feedback. I can confirm there is no WIFI and no jacuzzi, and neither are advertised. However, there is actually a spa, though we do not advertise this either, and the instructions are in the Visitor Information Manual. If there were any problems operating this then it is always advised to make contact with the housekeeper who would advise accordingly during your stay. Each property has guidelines for your own safety and enjoyment, which vary property to property. With regard to the cost of the venue, bearing in mind that a premium is applied as it houses a private indoor pool it still offers remarkable value at certain times of the year when compared to other venues without a pool. Your comment of it being a nice property in a great location of an ideal size with good facilities certainly sums it up well, and we look forward to assisting you in the future.
