We’ve just had a chat with the owner, Clare, and she wanted us to say a huge thanks for giving her nearly top marks and most importantly glad to hear you had a great holiday.
In relation to your other comments, the property was last inspected in February and the kitchen chairs were all solid but the housekeeper has now been asked to check them again. There have been incidents where children of previous guests have been a little too rambunctious with the furniture which caused issues, but they’ve all since been resolved. As far as storage goes, it’s considered more than acceptable for a property of this size to provide two fridges and a freezer for a group of 12, but sorry if you felt this wasn’t enough. Certainly, properties accommodating groups of 12 on the Isle of Skye are unique in their rarity and we hope we’ve described this holiday home to do ‘exactly what it says on the tin’, marketing it as a delightful family home rather than something modern and pristine. Clare hopes to welcome you again next time you plan a trip to this beautiful part of Scotland and thanks you again for your helpful feedback.

So glad we were able to help. The bond is held for a full 7 days (although we are always happy to ask owners for an early return) unfortunately we have no control over the receiving banks processing time, apologies this took a little longer than usual.

Great service, any problems with online booking or payment could be resolved easily over the phone. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who were able to answer any questions.
