Thank you for your comments regarding your recent journey with us. Firstly may I apologise for the fact that our service did not reach your expectation. We will always try, where operationally possible, to load customers in the order they arrive. However, we also need to take into consideration weight distribution across the vessel, it may look unorganised at times with some lanes being loaded before others but it is like a large jigsaw puzzle to fit each vehicle onto the ferry. We do offer the option of upgrading your ticket for priority loading, which means you will be one of the first cars onto the ferry and one of the first off. The Red Falcon is currently undergoing a £2m refurbishment, this will see the indoor seating increase by 55%, a new indoor pet area, a quiet zone and improved Wi-Fi solution and more laptop/phone charging points. Thank you for the feedback, our vessels are currently under going a refurbishment project, starting with Red Flacon, the accommodation areas are being changed and upgraded to allow for 55% more indoor seating. Red Funnel

Thank you for your comments and I apologise for the lack of seating on your crossings. We are aware that during busy periods seating is at an optimum. Onboard every sailing we have an Onboard Service Officer, so should you require any assistance whatsoever in the future, please do not hesitate to report it straight away so we can take immediate action for you onboard. Crew members do tend to have more success at asking guests to move along or give up a seat for a fellow passenger. The rules ensure the price remains as low as possible on quiet off-peak sailings to encourage demand whilst at busier times, the fare will increase in small increments as space on the ship becomes booked. It is therefore best to book as early as possible to get the lowest lead-in fares. Red Funnel
