Thank you for leaving feedback, I am sorry to hear there were issues with the toilets onboard your sailing, I have spoken to the Manager onboard and unfortunately they were blocked and the pipes had to be taken off to clear the blockage. We have recently changed our pet policy and the upstairs bar on the Red Eagle is now the indoor pet area when the weather is unpleasant. Thank you for your feedback, the 1500 ferry is classed as a peak sailing; therefore the charge was due as you changed from an off-peak to a peak fare time. I know there was room for you to travel earlier, but it would have been unfair on the other passengers who had paid the higher fare, if we let you on without the upgrade. Red Funnel

Thank you for your comments, we are aware that at times indoor seating is at a premium as a large proportion can be found on the outer decks. We are currently undergoing a £2m refurbishment of the Red Falcon to increase the indoor seating by 55%, details can be found here https://www.redfunnel.co.uk/newlook. If this is received well by our customers, then the other two vessels will be refurbished later this year and next year.
