Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback and we are incredibly sorry to hear about the difficulty your dog had with the stairs onboard our ferry. I believe you were on our Red Osprey for this sailing and we do have an inside pet area located at the Port side Cowes end of the main lounge, so you could of sat with your dog inside instead of using the stairs to reach the outer deck. I am sorry if this was not explained to you properly at the time and I believe this may of been where our staff member intended on you returning to. It may seem unreasonable that we did request that you sit in the designated pet area, even if it was only for 5 minutes but we do need to have pets kept in certain areas due to allergy sufferers and people afraid of dogs. We hope that any disappointment caused on this occasion will not dissuade you from travelling with us again in the future and if you are unsure where the inside pet area is please ask any member of staff for help.
