I note from the file notes our Sales Progressor Jess had numerous points of contact with you during the conveyancing process to keep you updated and that your property was at the top of quite a lengthy chain. However, whilst our Sales Progressors are able to pass on information they glean from other parties in the chain, the responsibility for conveyancing including dealing with management companies, lenders and mortgage funds, agreeing exchange and completion dates lies solely with the solicitors / conveyancers working for each party and as estate agents we have no control over the management of this process. The system for transacting property sales in England is different to other systems you may have previously experienced in another country and perhaps your understanding of estate agent and conveyancer responsibilities was not fully clear. However, we are pleased you were happy with the service provided by Simon and wish you all the best in your onward move.
