Photinia Red Robin hedging has stunning red foliage which looks amazing with the deep green of the older leaves and they also produce clusters of delicate white flowers in spring. Hawthorn is a native, deciduous species, so your plants will have lost their leaves during winter, but they will have burst back into leaf and will be flowering and will eventually produce berries. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Hi Sarah, Thank you very much for leaving your review. I am so pleased you are happy with your Pittosporum Tom Thumb and I hope it is enjoying its new garden. It is a slow-growing, evergreen shrub with wonderful colouring. The older leaves are wavy and deep purple, and the new growth is light-green on dark stems creating a shrub of complete colour contrasts and visual interest. . Lonicera Nitida is an evergreen with tiny green leaves 🌿. Your new plants will knit together to form a beautiful dense hedge. They sometimes produce little white flowers in spring, and these will attract pollinating insects, and the dark berries that push through in autumn will feed hungry birds. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Hi, Thank you so much for your review. I am so pleased you are happy with your Dog Rose plants and I hope they are enjoying their new surroundings. Dog Rose is a hardy, native plant. As it is deciduous it will have lost its leaves over autumn/winter, and new leaves will have pushed through again. In summer they will produce pink and white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies 🦋 and bees 🐝 and after flowering you will see rosehip fruits appear that will feed lots of hungry birds 🐦. They are evergreen with beautiful variegated green and grey leaves. In spring they will produce gorgeous purple flowers that smell amazing and last through til summer. I hope your Privet are now in the ground and are settling into their new home. Privet is a semi-evergreen, which means the plants may lose some or all their leaves during a very chilly winter. In spring lots of new leaves will push through and in the summer they will produce masses of white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. Pyracanthas are lush evergreen plants that during autumn produce masses of red berries that will attract hungry birds. And Holly is a slow growing evergreen species. Hopefully, you have a good mixture of male and female plants, which will ensure the female plants produce lots of berries in winter for you.
