Hi, Lovely to speak to you and thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry you were disappointed with the plants when they arrived. As discussed on our call I have arranged for extra plants to be sent to you, along with some After Plant feed. Portuguese Laurel is a beautiful evergreen plant that has glossy green leaves all year round. The small delicate flowers that bloom in the summer are extremely popular with butterflies and bees. And French Lavender is a beautiful, fragrant evergreen shrub. From May onwards they will produce gorgeous lilac flowers. So extra wildlife should hopefully be coming into your garden soon. Purple Beech looks wonderful all year round. In autumn the leaves turn brown when the plants become dormant for the winter. The plants hold onto these leaves and now the growing season has begun lots of healthy purple leaves will have pushed through. Hawthorn is a native, deciduous species, so your plants will have lost their leaves during winter, but they will now have burst back into leaf and will have flowered and will eventually produce berries. During the spring they produce tiny white flowers that are popular with butterflies and bees and during winter they produce small red berries that hungry birds love. Hi, Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry your plants arrived under the specification online. I have dropped you an email to let you know I have arranged for a 50% refund to be processed. It is lovely to hear you plants are enjoying their new home and are growing well. Privet is a semi-evergreen, which means the plants may lose some or all their leaves during a very chilly winter. In spring lots of new leaves will push through and in the summer they will produce masses of white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies and bees. Dog Rose is a hardy, native plant. As it is deciduous it will have lost its leaves over autumn/winter, and now healthy green leaves will have pushed through. In summer they will produce pink and white flowers that will attract lots of butterflies 🦋 and bees 🐝 and after flowering you will see rosehip fruits appear that will feed lots of hungry birds 🐦.
