Good morning -- We have consulted with the technician who made the visit. He advised that the job included cones and cables and a full door re tension. The technician also advised that you bought your own parts which were incorrect and tried to fix the door yourself. Obviously any DIY work is different to commissioning a trained skilled professional technician with the correct parts which would also come with a full parts and labour guarantee. Sorry to read that you feel we are rip off merchants but we have recently been awarded the Feefo Gold Service Award for outstanding service which we have achieved over the previous months servicing many happy customers on a daily basis. Good morning -- We are sorry to hear of your experience after the technician made the visit to your property. We will check this with our service team and the sales advisor you spoke with. We are always happy to provide a full survey along with a free no obligation quotation with no call out charge and from time to time we can be more expensive than other companies so try to be competitive even if it means a reduction. £1400 does seem a lot though for a repair to a motor, that price is normally for a new system. Much can also depend on the brand which would have been SupraMatic or ProMatic which are typical brands we install. We have recently been awarded the Gold Service Award by Feefo and are proud of our current Feefo star score, with many happy customers on a daily basis as other reviews read, so always disappointing to hear that we are dishonest. Amendment. We have now consulted with the technician and the original quote for £1400 was for a roller shutter tubular motor, so not for a ProMatic or SupraMatic which are typical used on doors like up and over types.

As for the 210 calls, we have an automated system which is relatively new but 210 calls seems excessive - this will be reported to our IT department, so thank you for bringing to our attention, thats never been heard of before if honest.
