Many Thanks for your Feedback. We are very sorry to hear you are disappointed in our pricing structure. Our 7 night duration flights in school holidays 2018 went on sale at the same £299 per person price as 2013, which we feel offers excellent value given the rise in costs and change in exchange rates since then. We also offered a discount for children in 2018, which wasn't the case in 2013. As we operate a weekly service, where 14 night durations are booked it often leaves seats that we are unable to sell in the middle weekend, which is why we now add a supplement to these flights. The baggage allowance for our Majorca service this year has been reduced from 20kg per person to 18kg per person due to the hold limitations of the aircraft we are operating with in 2018. We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. I have checked your booking and it appears that your youngest child may have travelled as a infant on your previous holiday, which would explain some of the increase in cost this year. Many Thanks for your feedback. We apologise for the delay to your flight. Unfortunately the flight on that date was held up by late arriving passengers for the previous journey up from Majorca, and was further delayed for your departure from Jersey by ATC restrictions after lightning storms passed over Palma Airport. We are pleased however that you enjoyed your hotel, and hope to see you on board another FlyDirect flight in the future.

Many Thanks for letting us know about the failure of this service. I can confirm that your assistance was included on the final flight brief and manifest, and am now investigating with the airline and airports why this wasn't then in place on the day.
