The simple, stress-free way to make your flight compensation claim: As part of the UK’s leading delayed flight claim specialist lawyers, passengers can benefit from the strength of our combined skills and experience to recover compensation even if the airlines have previously refused to pay or ignored them
We're happy to read that you thought our service speed was pretty good.
We're sorry to read of your feedback with regards to our fees. We have now reviewed your case in line with your comments.
From looking at your file and the breakdown of costs email you received upon settlement, we can see that we did not charge you 40%.
We'd like to confirm that we never charge more than the fixed fees of 25% plus VAT of the compensation and a £25 admin fee per passenger as set out in our terms and conditions, which each claimant has to sign before we can proceed. Also worth pointing out is that there are other legal costs and expenses associated with issuing court proceedings that we recover direct from the airline, and are not part of the EU261 compensation that we recover for you.
With regards to our VAT - The 20% VAT is charged on the 25% fee. So 20% of 25 is 5, therefore the total is 30% including VAT (25+5). The £25 admin fee is deducted after the fee is calculated. An example of this is that If your claim was £200 our fees would be £50 (25%) plus 20% VAT at £10 and £25 admin fee, totaling to £85 (50 + 10 + 25).
I hope this helps to explain our fees a little more and if you are still unsure about anything, please give us a call on 01625 415 910.
Thanks,
Georgie.
