You talk about delivering the travel pack. It only contained the camino passport and the bag tags. We had to find a place in Tui to print all the details. These should be delivered with the tags and passport!

Thank you for travelling with us and for your feedback. The holiday pack sent prior to departure includes passport and tags by post and all the other documentation is emailed to clients to print at home (specific hotel information, vouchers, walking notes). Apologies it this caused any inconvenience. Portuguese route is indeed one of the most rural Caminos to Santiago (of all the last sections). It is important to note, however, all Camino routes cross towns and cities, so a certain level of walking near roads is difficult to avoid (particularly when approaching bigger towns and cities). Perhaps one or to of the meals offered in the hotels were lacking in choice, but the staff all tried to help. The final hotel in Santiago was amazing which made up for one or two of the others. Some of the map directions were a little confusing and some incorrect. But getting lost was all part of the brilliant experience. I would definately recommend CaminoWays to anyone thinking of doing a pilgrimage.
