I am happy to read the tour was wonderful and you enjoyed exploring the Colosseum and Roman Forum with her. The books she uses to illustrate how the Colosseum changed are definitely a plus. September is very busy in tourism as it's peak season so the Colosseum are is at times pretty crowded but I understand you found the guide eventually. Thank you for booking with us!

These are the instructions that we provide on both our tour vouchers as well as our website: Meeting PointEntrance to the Royal Gardens on the water front of St. Marks Square. From St. Marks facing the Basilica turn right and walk towards the open water. At the two giant columns facing the water turn right, and following the line of trees after a 100 metres you will come to the entrance of the Royal Gardens where we will be waiting holding a sign with Grand Canal Boat Tour written on it The tour meets right next to a big iron gate which is the entrance to the Royal Garden. We have a sign with our company's logo as well as tour name written on it so it's actually quite easy to locate us. The tour doesn't meet inside the Garden but at the entrance so any periodical maintenance taking place inside has no relevance as the meeting point location is always the same. I am not sure what type of email was expected unless you are refering to the email with the tour voucher that was sent at the email address provided on the reservation? Please clarify. As you gave us four stars for the tour I understand the tour itself was satisfactory and informative? Thank you for joining!

I am sorry to read you are not fully satisfied with the tour. The duration of this boat tour is just one hour and given its title the main focus is the Grand Canal. It includes some of the minor canals as well. I understand however that the guide and local staff were helpful and informative? We suggest contacting us prior booking to check available options - we also have a two-hours tour that features also minor canals as well as many secret corners of Venice.
