Thanks for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you're disappointed with your new Gloucester parasol. Can we ask you check the following which may help with the problems you're having. Please ensure all the parts of the parasol are connected correctly and are in the right place, the plastic base is filled with sufficient sand/water to take the weight of the parasols 3mt canopy. We always recommend any parasol is not left unattended or used in windy conditions. We hope this helps.

I can confirm that all parts are assembled correctly and the base is full of water, the parasol is not left unattended or used in windy conditions.
The extension arm catches on the bracket it feeds through which has caused scratches on the arm.
Excellent. Delivery was quicker than expected and they were incredibly helpful.
