Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you experienced a delay on delivery of your dining furniture. As outlined in the letter we sent to you, due to an unforeseen shipping delay, your furniture was delayed for circumstances outside of our control. We always do everything within our power to adhere to the estimated timescales given at point of sale but the delay on the shipped container was unavoidable on this occasion. This is normally a stocked range but due to its success from the start this year, all orders were placed on back order. We do hope that you will accept our apologies for any inconvenience the delay may have caused you.

We would normally only update customers if the lead time exceeds what we estimated at point of sale and as this was not the case, the salesperson would not normally be in touch until delivery/ collection. We are very disappointed to receive your negative comments regarding a member of our sales team. The salesperson who processed your order is very experienced and has been with Cousins for a number of years. The normal lead time for your product is 6-8 weeks however our computer system applies the latter number of weeks to cover any possible eventuality of a delay. We do hope that this experience will not deter you from visiting us again in the future.
