Plant arrived covered in brown spots all over it’s leaves. Fungal infection or stress due to poor growing conditions. I doubt it will survive.

You have done exactly the right thing by removing the affected leaves, and fingers crossed with some TLC your plant will recover and will produce wonderful flowers that smell amazing.
