The capsule size in Preservage is a temporary change due to supply adjustments, and we understand that larger capsules may not suit everyone. As a solution, the capsules can be opened and the powder contents added to a small glass of cold or room temperature water, which can make it much easier to take. Regarding sorbitol in V14: it’s included in a small amount as part of the flavouring system, not as a filler, and for most people it does not meaningfully impact blood glucose. That said, we fully recognise that individual responses vary, and if you’re using a CGM and consistently seeing a glucose spike, it’s absolutely right that you should listen to your body. Importantly, this feedback is something we’ve taken on board. We are already removing sorbitol from the next batch of V14, and we’ll be notifying all customers once the updated batch is available. This change has been driven by customer feedback like yours, not cost. On the taste, we know V14 is a complex formula with a strong nutrient profile, which can make it more challenging to mask completely. Some customers find it easier mixed into a larger volume of water or taken with a citrus juice, but we appreciate that taste can be a deal-breaker. Regarding the sachets, thank you for flagging this as well. We’re actively reviewing the packaging format, as we’ve had similar feedback about ease of opening and powder loss, and this is being addressed as part of ongoing improvements. The pouch is also a more sustainable option so that is a great option to go for. Hi Kate, Thank you for sharing your concern, we appreciate the opportunity to clarify this. The sorbitol in our Krill Oil has always been present and is only used in very small amounts as part of the softgel shell, not as an active ingredient in the oil itself. It’s there to keep the capsule stable and flexible and does not affect the quality or efficacy of the krill oil. At these trace levels, sorbitol is considered safe and well tolerated for the vast majority of people, and it does not impact blood sugar in any meaningful way. The active ingredient inside the capsule remains 100% Superba™ Krill Oil, providing EPA, DHA, phospholipids, and astaxanthin. That said, we completely understand that some people prefer to avoid certain excipients altogether, and we respect that choice.
