Thank you for your feedback, though we think it's important to explain how MSC holds cabins during a booking. The countdown timer is not ours. It is MSC's cabin hold, which applies to every booking made on MSC's live system regardless of which website you use (including their own). When you select a specific cabin, MSC reserves it for a limited period, and when that period expires, the cabin is released by them, and pricing is refreshed. That is exactly what happened here. The reason you have "never had this pressure when booking with other websites" is that other websites do not show you the timer. The hold still exists with them and still expires, you simply are not told about it. We choose to display it so our customers can see precisely how long their cabin is held rather than being timed out without warning. We would rather be criticised for showing the clock than praised for hiding it. The price increase after the hold expired was MSC's live pricing, not a decision made by us. We appreciate this was not the booking experience you hoped for, but the review criticises us for a system that, sadly, we do not control, and for a courtesy no other agency extends.
