Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that you have experienced an issue with your claim. Can I start by confirming that the claim would have been through our claims company and the insurer not your broker, the criticism regarding updates on the claim must be aimed towards them and that has prompted us to investigate fully on your behalf. I have contacted Tradewise Insurance and have discussed the incident in question from 18/04/2014. The circumstances of the accident are that there has been contact between the front of your vehicle and the rear of the third party. You were alleging that the third party had reversed into you, however their allegations are that you have hit them. With our experience the circumstances would suggest that this incident would be complicated and therefore resolution either way would take time as it is not clear cut who is at fault. Despite these complications, Tradewise have continued to dispute the third party allegations on your behalf but unfortunately they do not have the resources to contact their customers weekly to keep them updated, however they have confirmed on at least 3 occasions they have had contact with you during this period. It was finally agreed that neither party were looking to claim for their damages, which has resulted in the accident being settled on a non-fault basis, with your no claims discount allowed. Claims can take a considerable time to be settled even with liability being admitted by one side immediately, in your case that liability was not forthcoming which caused all the delays You have since renewed the policy and we are of course disappointed by your comments considering the above. May I recommend that if you have any issues with claims in future, that you please contact us and we will try and speed things along or provide further updates where possible. Good afternoon, Thank you for proceeding with Trade plan insurance for your motor trade policy and for your feedback. We look into all feedback received whether positive or negative to understand the feelings of our customers and ensure staff are following procedure and our values. We have always prided ourselves on offering the best quality policy for each client with a competitive price, this has meant that a hard sell strategy has never been implemented or required. Therefore your feedback was very concerning and this week we have had a look at communications with you during the quotation process. The original quotation was completed by Harry on the 27/10/2014, we priced a policy for you and confirmed that by text message. On the 28th a call was made to see how the quotation compared to others you had received and a message was left to call us back to discuss. We were then contacted on the 29th to discuss the quote which is when Jon requoted an improved rate with confirmation of further details, in this conversation you requested we called back at 4pm to complete the policy. This call back was done as requested but you did not have time and said you would take the policy the next day which was when it was completed. In this process we only called on one occasion without agreeing a time for a call back, therefore in this instance we apologise if you feel harassed in anyway but we feel that the sales advisors acted appropriately based on instruction from the client.
