Following the renewal of your motor trade policy, may I thank you for your feedback. At the renewal stage of every policy we do arrange quotations with the other insurer’s on our panel and if we are able to find a cheaper alternative, then this will be the quotation offered to you. On this occasion we were unable to find a competitive rate elsewhere and subsequently posted the Covéa Insurance renewal terms. It does appear however that another broker had specifically referred your risk to Markerstudy and as the policy was not with them, they were willing to discount their screen rate by a further 15% to secure the policy. This discount is not automatically available and I am afraid therefore that it did not come up when shopping the market pre invitation. Luckily for us you are loyal customer and on this occasion you gave us the opportunity to compete and agree the same terms with Markerstudy Insurance.
