Thank you, Douglas, for sharing your experience with us! The Minimum Industry Safety Training (MIST) standard was introduced by the UK Oil and Gas industry and Step Change in Safety to ensure that all personnel have the necessary safety awareness and basic skills training to recognise and avoid risk. The OPITO MIST Further training course is for experienced offshore workers, to renew their MIST certification every four years and retain an awareness of the major accident hazards, workplace hazards and associated controls found on offshore installations.
Highly recommend, wasn't easy, long hours and finally test past.
