The surveyor made it sound good, but the service from then on was terrible, delays to approving the installation, failure to respond to telephone calls on most occasions and no response from Age Uk...

I have now been contacted by both Handicare and Age Uk and hope that my complaint goes a long way to avoiding others going through what we experienced. The stair lift is working well and is great in overcoming the problems that mum has been experiencing.

Just to let you know we had to contact Handicare as when my husband turned the seat it was making a great deal of noise. A representative came next day and rectified the problem by oiling. Very satisfied. Please note you address me as Mrs Thomson - the original query was made by my daughter, Mrs Thomson. I am Mrs Watson and my husband is the user of the stairlift and we purchased it! MW
